A 41-year-old man has been charged with murder after the body of a man was found in a Glastonbury flat.
Police were called to Abbey Lodge, Bere Lane, at 0920 BST on Friday.
After forcing their way in, they found a body in the bedroom of a flat.
A post mortem examination at Southmead Hospital on Saturday confirmed the cause of death as multiple stab wounds.
On Friday afternoon, a 41-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested and subsequently charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Wells Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Attempts are being made to formally identify the dead man.
