'Carjacker' e-fit issued
E-fit of the carjacker
The man was wearing black jeans and a t-shirt, police said
Police have issued an e-fit of a carjacker who forced a man to the floor at knifepoint and then stole his Mercedes.

Surrey Police said the 61-year-old victim was lured from his vehicle by a woman claiming to have a problem with her car.

The man had been parked outside the circus compound on Addlestone Moor.

When he went to help the woman with her Vauxhall Cavalier he was threatened by a man with a knife and then forced to the floor.

The offender made off with the £45,000 Mercedes and the woman drove off in the Cavalier.

The Mercedes was found in Hounslow less than two hours later after a tracker device in the car was activated.

Police said the victim, from Crawley, Sussex, suffered minor injuries in the attack.

The offender is described as being of mixed race, about 5 ft 10 in tall and of medium build and wearing a t-shirt and black jeans.

The woman was white, slim and with long black hair.

Police are asking anyone who may recognise either the man or the woman from the descriptions to contact them.
