Sexual assault in car park

Police in Leicester are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in a car park.

It happened between 0100 BST and 0300 BST on Sunday.

The 24-year-old was alone in the Haymarket car park when she was approached by a man she did not know, who sexually assaulted her.

Police are describing the attack as 'serious'.

Officers want to talk to anyone who was in the car park or may have seen the woman or her attacker.

She is described as white, about 5'8'', with blonde short hair in pigtails.

She was wearing a khaki short sleeved top, khaki skirt and sandals.

Her attacker is described as white, in his early twenties, around 5'8'', with short blond hair.

He was wearing a short sleeved checked shirt and black trousers.
