Gun shots heard in street
Police were called to a street in Coventry following reports of a gun being fired.

Officers from West Midlands Police were called to Lynmouth Road, in Wood End, at 2140 BST on Friday.

When they arrived at the scene a number of residents reported hearing gun shots.

Officers found a firearm which had been discharged.

A police spokesman said no one was injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
