Body found in car park
An investigation has begun after the body of a man was found in Liverpool.

The man, who was aged in his late 30s, was discovered shortly before 0700 BST on Saturday.

A man who was opening up a shop saw the body in a car park behind shops in Breck Road.

Police have not yet identified him and it is not known how he died.

Witness appeal

Detectives say they are keeping an open mind until the results of a post mortem examination are known tomorrow.

They are trying to piece together his last movements and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

The dead man is described as of medium build, with very short dark hair.

He was wearing jeans, a brown belt and a navy golfing-style jacket.
