CCTV appeal after body found
A still of the man police want to speak to in connection with the death of Charles Rogers
The man withdrew cash from Mr Rogers' account on 22 August
Police have released a CCTV still of a man they want to speak to in connection with the death of a man in Birmingham.

The body of Charles Rogers was found at his flat in Bradbeer House, in Francis Road, Ladywood on 2 September.

West Midlands Police believe Mr Rogers may have died about one month before his body was found but a post mortem examination into the cause of his death has proved inconclusive.

Police have released a CCTV still of a man who withdrew money from Mr Rogers account on 22 August.

Vital information

Detective Inspector Bob Kearns said the money was withdrawn at 1020 BST from Natwest Bank, in Highfield Road, Edgbaston.

"There was nothing obvious when Mr Rogers was found in his flat to suggest foul play, but technically we are still treating his death as suspicious because the post mortem was inconclusive and therefore we are not sure how he died," he said.

"Cash was withdrawn from his account after his death and we believe the man in the CCTV still, who withdrew the money, may have vital information to assist our inquiry."

Police are appealing for information to help identify the man.
