Biker injured in police crash
A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in an accident involving a police car.

It happened at 2050 BST on Tuesday evening in Thurlaston in Leicestershire.

The male rider and the two police officers travelling in the patrol car were taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary.

The officers suffered minor injuries in the collision on Croft Lane.

No members of the public were travelling in the police car at the time.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident which involved a marked Ford Focus police car and a blue and yellow Honda motorbike.
