Police are investigating the death of a man found in an empty house in Manchester.
Officers were called to Pinkbank Lane, in Longsight, at a about 2010 BST on Monday.
The victim, thought to be in his 40s, had suffered a number of cuts to his body.
He was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary, but died later. The death is being treated as suspicious.
A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said: "Crime scene investigators are examining the house, which is thought to be usually unoccupied."
A post-mortem examination was due to take place on Tuesday.
Police are urging anyone who has information about the incident to contact them.
