Body found three days after crash
Undergrowth at Toome, County Antrim, scene of fatal road accident
The car lay in undergrowth at the roadside for three days
The body of a man who died after his car crashed in a wooded area in County Antrim has been discovered three days after the accident.

It is understood the car left the Moneynick Road, between the M2 and Toomebridge, in the early hours of Friday morning.

No other vehicle appears to have been involved.

The man has been named locally as Darren McGreevy who was from Toome.

The 26-year-old had been reported missing by his family last Friday.

His car was discovered by a relative in a densely wooded area off the Moneynick Road on Monday.

Police believe that is why the car was not noticed earlier.

They are appealing to witnesses, who may have seen something unusual in the early hours of Friday morning, to come forward.

The death brings the total number of people who have died on Northern Ireland's roads this year to 99.
