A stinger device has been used by police to stop a bus which was stolen from a depot in County Antrim.
The thieves drove the vehicle out of a secure compound in Ballycastle through locked gates.
Officers became suspicious when they saw a youth driving the bus along Quay Road in the town at 0230 BST on Saturday.
The bus failed to stop after being signalled to, and a second police patrol brought it to a halt five miles outside the town on the Cushendall Road.
The driver was arrested and a second man, who initially ran off, was arrested a short time later in a nearby field.
Both men have been charged with driving offences and criminal damage.
They were released on police bail to appear before Coleraine Magistrate's Court on 17 October.
