A man who was arrested by police investigating the alleged attempted abduction of a six-year-old girl has been released on bail.
Detectives say the incident happened at woodland in the Newsome area of Huddersfield on Sunday night.
Officers say the girl had become separated from friends whilst they were at the end of a footpath on Roger Lane.
Her friends heard her screaming and she later told police that a man had picked her up, but let her go and ran off when she struggled and screamed.
The police helicopter was brought in to help officers with dogs search the surrounding area.
A 23-year-old local man was questioned in Huddersfield and has been released on police bail.
