Hunt for a missing family man
Vincent Derrick with his wife Vicky and son Louis
Mr Derrick's family say his disappearence was out of character
The family of a man who has been missing for almost three weeks are organising a massive search of the area where he was last seen.

They will team up with the police to try to uncover new clues.

Vincent Derrick, 28, is originally from Castle Donington, Leicestershire, but had moved to Partington, Greater Manchester.

He disappeared in August after a works night out in Manchester.

Taxi driver

He made a mobile phone call to a friend from a taxi and nobody has heard from him since.

His family say the disappearance of the married father-of-one, known as Vinny, is completely out of character.

Police are still trying to trace the taxi driver who may have information to help them piece together what has happened to Mr Derrick.

In the meantime, his family and friends will be joining police search teams this weekend.
