Labour by-election defeat

A minor political earthquake took place in North East London where Tony Blair's New Labour lost its first by-election in the previously safe seat of Brent East.

We asked whether the Prime Minister has lost his cloak of invincibility and is now in fact an electoral liability.

Also we had an exclusive interview with the president of the world's largest media firm, Viacom. He's over here from America to attend the annual conference of TV execs and his interest in the UK's television network is much more than academic - some say that he wants to buy ITV.
