Three people have been killed in separate road accidents in Northern Ireland.

A man died in a three-car collision on the A1 near Hillsborough, County Down, on Monday afternoon.

Two people are being treated in hospital for their injuries and are described as stable.

An 84-year-old woman involved in the accident was not seriously hurt.

Earlier in County Fermanagh, a woman from the Netherlands died following an accident on the Loughshore Road between Enniskillen and Belleek shortly after 1000 BST on Monday.

It is understood the 40-year-old woman's car was in collision with another vehicle.

Her eight-year-old daughter was taken to hospital.

Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
