Park reopens after £3m renovation
Lincoln's Arboretum officially reopens to the public on Friday after an extensive period of renovation work.

Children from across the city are being invited to attend the opening ceremony.

Lincoln City Council has spent more than £3m upgrading the visitor centre.

Some of the park's oldest features have been restored including a Victorian bandstand and the famous lion.

A new play area and maze for children has also been built.

A former Monks Primary School Student and the Mayor of Lincoln Councillor Donald Nannestad will declare the park open.
