Fatal accident man named
The man who died after an accident on the A149 at Stalham has been named by police.

Paul Mayhew, 25, of Catfield in Norfolk was run over by a coach in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The extent of Mr Mayhew's injuries had earlier led officers to suspect he could have been hit by another vehicle before being struck by the coach.

But a postmortem examination revealed that no other vehicle had been involved and that he had been lying in the road when the accident happened.

It also showed that Mr Mayhew had drunk a large amount of alcohol before his death.

Norfolk Police would like to hear from anyone who was travelling along the Stalham bypass in either direction between 0100 and 0245 BST.
