Two motorbikes collide head-on
Two people are in hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Wiltshire.

Two motorbikes - one carrying an 11-year-old girl - collided head-on on Sunday near Zigzag hill on the Wiltshire and Dorset border.

It is believed that one of the bikes, a red Honda, was trying to overtake a car on the B3081 when it collided with a silver sports motorbike.

The 33-year-old male rider of the Honda, from Salisbury, was taken to the town's District Hospital with serious injuries, althought they are not thought to be life-threatening.

The rider of the sports motorbike, a 51-year-old man from Bristol, suffered hand and leg injuries.

His young passenger escaped unhurt, but shocked.

Police, the ambulance service and the Dorset air ambulance were all called out to the scene and witnesses are being sought.
