Counterfeit goods seized at market
Counterfeit goods worth £150,000 have been seized at holiday markets in Somerset.

Computer software, CDs, DVDs, videos and clothing were all found by trading standards officers at markets in Brean and Minehead.

Howard Burnett, trading standards manager, said: "Enquiries are continuing into the goods we seized and it is expected a number of prosecutions will follow.

"Anyone found guilty is liable to an unlimited fine or imprisonment for up to 10 years, or both."

The council says more raids are planned where intelligence dictates counterfeit goods are being sold.
