Second man faces stabbing charge

Daniel Batten died after being stabbed
A second man has been charged with murder after a 20-year-old was stabbed in the chest in Essex.

Daniel Batten, of Gibbs Croft, Harlow, died after he was stabbed in his home town on 16 August.

Amir Sattar, 18, from Barly Croft in Harlow, was charged on Friday morning with Mr Batten's murder.

He is due to appear before Chelmsford Magistrates.

Mr Sattar is the second man to be charged in connection with Mr Batten's death.

On Thursday, Hoa Dang, of Collins Gardens in Harlow, appeared at the town's magistrates court accused of murder.

He was remanded in custody, before an appearance at Chelmsford Crown Court next week.

A 21-year-old from Harlow, who was questioned about Mr Batten's death, remains on police bail pending further inquiries.
