Chemical incident at airport
Ten people were treated by the Essex Ambulance Service after a chemical incident at Stansted Airport in Essex on Thursday evening.

It is believed they suffered exposure after handling a damaged box of chemicals in the cargo area of the airfield.

Essex Fire and Rescue Service were called out and the immediate area was evacuated.

Investigations found the chemicals were non-toxic and non-hazardous.

No flights were affected by the incident.
