Man dies in crash
Police in Leicester are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a car accident.

The crash happened at about 1930 BST on Wednesday, when a car and a van collided.

The accident happened at the junction of Stoughton Drive South, Manor Road and Knighton Grange Road in Leicester.

A cream coloured Ford Orion car and a blue and white Mercedes Sprinter Van collided.

The driver of the car was killed.

He has yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the van, a 29-year-old man from Leicester was unhurt.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is urged to contact Leicestershire Police.
