Man hunted over sex assault

Police are hunting a man who indecently assaulted a 15-year-old girl near Preston.

The attack took place at about 0920 BST on Wednesday in Bamber Bridge.

The girl was grabbed by the man as she walked along Old Tram Road, close to Todd Lane North.

The man held her, but she managed to push him away and ran off to summon help.

Detectives are investigating whether it is linked to another indecent assault involving a man in the area last November.

Anyone who witnessed the attack is urged to come forward.
