Police make over 30 arrests

More than 30 arrests have been made by Guernsey Police over the weekend.

The force has been exceptionally busy since 1800 BST on Friday.

Six arrests were made for burglary and theft, three people were taken into custody for drink driving offences, and three people were arrested for assault.

Two people were also detained for drugs offences, while 12 people were arrested for drunkenness, being disorderly or causing a breach of the peace.

Many of those taken into custody are expected to appear before Guernsey magistrates on Monday morning.
