Police recover £200,000 of drugs
A suspected heroin haul worth £200,000 has been seized in a police operation on Teesside.

Officers from Cleveland Police's organised crime squad raided a house in Bradhope Road, in the Berwick Hills area of Middlesbrough.

They recovered 2 kilos of what they believe is heroin, and arrested four men on suspected drugs-related offences.

They are a 38-year-old from Liverpool, and three men, aged 32, 30, and 25, from Middlesbrough.

Detective Inspector Gordon Lang, head of the organised crime unit, said: "This is a significant recovery.

"We have prevented 20,000 street deals of heroin with a value of £200,000 reaching the streets of our communities."

The haul has been sent for forensic testing to confirm it is heroin.
