Police hunt masseuse killer
Angela Chiu
Police do not believe the murder was linked to Angela Chiu's work
Police are hunting for clues leading to the killer of a masseuse found stabbed to death in the bathroom of her house in an exclusive area of Poole.

Officers found the body of 48-year-old Angela Chiu in Haven Road, Canford Cliffs, on Friday evening.

A post-mortem examination on Saturday afternoon revealed she had died of stab wounds.

Forensic teams remained at the address on Saturday and Sunday to carry out further tests, while detectives conducted house-to-house inquiries.

'Luxury massage'

An ad placed by Ms Chiu in the Bournemouth Daily Echo newspaper reads: "Luxury massage. Sauna and steam, private practice at Sandbanks".

However, Dorset police say they do not believe the killing was linked to her job.

Detective Superintendent Pete Jackson said: "As to the motive for the killing, we are keeping an open mind.

"It appears that the last person to speak to the lady was on Wednesday.

"The alarm was raised around teatime on Friday when a relative called at the house and failed to get an answer.

"I understand that the lady lived alone in the house and there appears to be no sign of forced entry into the premises."

Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Haven Road area from last Wednesday onwards.
