Man questioned on 'lead' attack
Police officers
Officers say the area was busy at the time of the attack
A man has been arrested and bailed by police following an attack in Leicester in which a dog lead was used.

A group of two women and three men who had two young children in pushchairs were in the Millstone Lane area of the City Centre at about 1600 BST on 18 July when the attack happened.

It is understood they approached a man and a woman sitting with a German Shepard dog outside the Lamplighters Pub.

An argument broke out and it is alleged one of the people involved was attacked with a dog lead.

Police arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the attack and he has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police say the area was busy and are urging drivers or shoppers who may have seen the incident to contact them.
