Biker dies in ambulance crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to get in touch
A man has been killed in a head-on accident between a motorcycle and an ambulance.

Two ambulance crew members were taken to hospital following the accident on the A631 at Glentham between Market Rasen and Gainsborough in Lincolnshire.

The vehicles collided on the High Street at 2130 BST on Friday.

The paramedics were not seriously hurt.

Police say the ambulance was not responding to an emergency call when the accident happened.

They are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
