Murder charge over stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after a 20-year-old was stabbed in the chest in Essex.

Daniel Batten, of Gibbs Croft, Harlow, died after he was stabbed during an incident in his home town on 16 August.

On Wednesday night, Essex Police said 18-year-old Hoa Dang, from Harlow, had been charged in connection with the death.

He was to appear before magistrates in the town on Thursday.

A second man has been released on bail by officers and has been ordered to report back to police on 22 September.

A third man, arrested on 20 August and released on bail, was to report to police on Thursday.
