One pensioner has died and another is in hospital after a fatal road traffic accident in south Wiltshire.
A 77-year-old woman from Shrewton died when three cars collided on the A360 near the Fugglestone Road in Salisbury.
A silver escort heading into Salisbury is believed to have lost control and collided with a Land Rover.
Another car then collided with the back of the Land Rover.
One man, 75, from Shrewton, was injured.
He is in a stable, but critical, condition in Salisbury District Hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened at about 1115 BST on Friday.
The road was closed for around three hours.
