A 14-year-old girl has told police she was raped after being forced into a van by two men.
Surrey Police said they wanted witnesses to come forward after the alleged abduction and rape in Lingfield on Tuesday afternoon.
The girl has told police she was going into Lingfield to buy sweets when the van stopped alongside her and she was pulled into it.
She told officers she was driven around for about half an hour during which time she was raped by one of the men in the back of the van.
Police said the girl told them she was walking along Ray Lane, close to the junction with Lingfield Common Road at about 1245 BST when a small white van pulled up alongside her.
Blacked out windows
She said there was one man in the front and one in the back, who raped her after she was dragged into the vehicle.
She told police she was dropped off by the entrance to Pond Farm in Ray Lane and ran back home.
The girl has been examined by doctors and offered support and advice from specialist police staff, and is now being cared for by her family.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Feast said: "The victim has described the van as having two front doors, a sliding door on the passenger side at the rear, and possibly blacked out windows.
"She says the van was smaller than a Transit van and square shaped.
"The only descriptions she could give of the men is that one was fat and one was thin."
DCI Feast said he wanted anyone who saw the van or saw a teenage girl running along Ray Lane or Lingfield Common Road between 1300 and 1330 BST to contact police.
