A man has been charged with murdering all five members of the Chohan family, who disappeared from their west London home in February.

Peter Douglas Rees, 38, from Portsmouth, Hampshire, was charged in May with murdering Amarjit Chohan, 46, from Hounslow.

On Friday at a hearing at the Old Bailey, he was also charged with murdering Mr Chohan's wife, Nancy, 25, their two sons, Ravinder and Devinder, and Mrs Chohan's mother Charanjit Kaur, 51.

The businessman's body was found floating in the sea close to Bournemouth Pier in Dorset on 22 April.

Mrs Chohan's body was found in Poole Bay, Dorset, on 15 July.

Police confirmed the bodies of the rest of the family have not been found.

Mr Chohan ran a £5m haulage business in west London.

Mr Rees is due to appear in court on 10 October.
