A police investigation has begun after a schoolboy was killed when he fell off his bicycle and was run over by a car.
The 14-year-old was cycling with a friend when the incident happened in Lower Earley, Berkshire, at about 1530 BST on Wednesday.
A white Jaguar is believed to have been in collision with the boy.
Two ambulances were called to the crash near the Moat House Hotel, but the boy died at the scene.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said the boy's name was not expected to be released until Friday.
Lower Earley Way was closed for several hours.
