Suspect hunted after sexual assault

Police have released an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with a serious sexual assault on a woman in Weston-super-Mare.

The attack on a 42-year-old happened on the resort's Bournville estate at 2240 BST on Monday.

The woman was left extremely shaken and distressed but otherwise unhurt.

She was walking from the Chaucer Road area, and was on a pathway leading to Grasmere Drive when she was approached by a man on a mountain bike.

He sexually assaulted her before making off.

The suspect is described as aged 20, white and 6ft tall.

He had blond or bleached hair, a pointed nose and a pierced eyebrow and was wearing a white baseball cap, a white t-shirt, white joggers and white trainers.
