Immigration officials were called to assess a group of suspected illegal immigrants found in the back of lorry in South Yorkshire.
The four men and one teenage boy were discovered after the driver of the frozen pizza truck stopped in Doncaster on Thursday.
The driver had called the police to White Rose Way on the edge of the town centre after hearing banging coming from the trailer.
Officers found the group, from Iran and Iraq, hidden in an area outside the freezer compartment.
All four men were being held in custody by police in Doncaster on Friday.
Prepared for journey
Social services have been called in to deal with the 16-year-old Iraqi boy.
The lorry had been driven through Germany and stopped in France before crossing the channel to England.
Sergeant Paul Read, a Minorities Officer for South Yorkshire Police, said the group had been in the lorry for about 24 hours.
He added: "We believe they have got into the lorry in France which was on its way from Germany.
"They had come prepared for the journey because they did have water and food on them."
