A bomb explosion in the Turkish capital, Ankara, has injured 16 police officers who were inspecting a suspect bag.
The bag, which had been left outside a justice ministry building, blew up as the officers - who wore no protective gear - opened it.
They had arrived at the scene after a similar bag exploded there a few minutes earlier.
Two of the wounded policemen are said to be in a critical condition.
No-one was injured by the earlier blast.
Ankara governor Yahya Gur called the explosions a "deliberate act of violence".
No group has said it carried out the attacks.
Similar bomb attacks in the past have been blamed on outlawed Kurdish, far-left groups and Muslim militants.
In September 2001, two police officers, an Australian tourist and a suicide bomber were killed in a leftist attack in Istanbul.
