The venue raises a substantial amount of cash for itself

A Derby theatre's financial troubles have eased according to a new report.
It follows claims in 2002 that the Playhouse was considering closing due to a funding shortage.
The serious financial situation was made public shortly after a new chief executive took over.
A series of cost-cutting measures were introduced and a report commissioned to provide a health check on it's finances.
It discovered that theatres in Nottingham and Leicester receive twice as much in Arts Council funding.
While the Playhouse which saw audience figures rise by nearly 10,000, generated two-thirds of its own income.
Managers have welcomed the report but say they accept the venue will always be financially vulnerable.
