Police name suspect
Keith Davis
Keith Davis is thought to have no fixed address
Police have named a man they would like to speak to in connection with a stabbing in Stillington near York.

North Yorkshire Police have also issued a photograph of Keith Davis, aged 48, who was born in Peterborough.

In the incident, a man in his late 60s was stabbed in the face during a struggle with an intruder at his home on Main Street in Stillington at 0815 BST on Sunday.

The fridge in the victim's home had been ransacked.

Detectives say a number of items were left at the scene including three knives and a wooden cane.

It is evidence taken from these items which has led to the naming of Keith Davis who is believed to have no fixed address.

Officers say anyone who knows where he is should not approach him but contact the police immediately.
