Police hunt on after crash

Police in Taunton are searching for a person who ran off after a car crash which left four people seriously injured.

The accident happened in Amberd Lane, Trull, at about 0350 BST on Friday.

Four people were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in the town suffering from serious injuries.

But officers investigating the accident say they believe a fifth person was in the car when it crashed and has not been accounted for.

They think he or she ran away from the scene, and they have launched a large-scale hunt for him or her.
