BA is attempting major reforms
Seven British Airways cabin crew have been suspended for allegedly stealing miniature bottles of spirits and bags of peanuts.

Nine crew members were stopped in a random search at Manchester Airport as they went through the nothing-to-declare staff channel following a transatlantic flight from New York.

Customs officers searched their bags and allegedly found hundreds of miniatures, thought to be brandy, whisky and gin worth £300.

Seven crew members, five women and two men, were arrested by police on suspicion of theft.

They were given police cautions and will not face criminal charges.

A spokeswoman for BA said: "Seven crew members have been suspended on full pay pending an internal investigation."

The alleged incident took place on Sunday morning.
