Spa project delayed again
The Spa at Bath - covered in scaffolding
The spa building was originally due to open in April
The opening of the Bath spa has been delayed - again.

Dutch company Thermae Bath Spa, which will act as operators, now says it cannot take guaranteed bookings until October.

The £20m spa project has been a stop-start affair since the original project was unveiled in September 2000.

Originally, it was due to open in early April - just in time for Bath's tourist season.

Since then repeated delays have frustrated local businesses - and cost the local council and Thermae weekly wage bills.

The project has been delayed due to a number of different factors in a complicated project, a spa spokesperson has previously told BBC News Online.
