Bombay blast 'kills six'
Police officers inspect houses destroyed in the explosion
The blast tore roofs off houses
An explosion in a suburb of the Indian city of Bombay (Mumbai) has killed at least six people and injured more than 20 others.

The blast occurred in the north-eastern Jogeshwari district, at the home of a supplier of explosives and firecrackers for use in scenes in the Bollywood film industry.

Police said the supplier, Dilnawaz Khan, kept a large quantity of explosive materials and chemicals in the house, and these had fuelled the blast.

They said they were still investigating the cause, but it appeared to be an accident.

Police said Mr Khan was among those killed, along with his wife, daughter and brother-in-law.
