Police release e-fit of attacker
Police have released an e-fit of a man who threatened and sexually assaulted a woman as she walked beside a river in Herefordshire.

Police have issued an e-fit of the offender

The woman was walking alongside the River Wye between Greyfriars Bridge and The Lines when a man approached her on Monday 1 September.

She was threatened and forced onto the ground where she was sexually assaulted.

The man, who then accompanied the woman back towards Hunderton, was last seen riding a bicycle in Wallace Avenue.

He is described as white, aged between 17 and 30-years-old.

He is 5 ft 6 ins tall and of slim to medium build with short dark spiky hair and was wearing a Puffa jacket, dark jeans and white trainers.

The offender was riding an old style silver bicycle which had a white seat and white walled tyres.

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Morgan, from West Mercia Police said: "This is a particularly vicious assault in which force and violence were used against a vulnerable young lady.

"It is important we arrest the offender as soon as possible."
