Body recovered from North Sea
The body of a woman has been recovered from the North Sea.

The crew of an RAF helicopter based at Wattisham in Suffolk picked the body of the unidentified woman from the water.

Just before 1200 BST on Thursday the body was seen 18 miles south-east of Lowestoft from the freight ferry Norcape.

The Lowestoft lifeboat was called to the area.

The woman was reported to be fully-clothed but not wearing a lifejacket.

The body has taken to the James Paget hospital in Gorleston.
