Police think Tony Karim may be in the Dover area
Police investigating the murder of a man in Hull have arrested two women, aged 17 and 45, for assisting an offender.

The body of Sheik Mohamed, 29, was found in the doorway of Hammonds department store, on Jameson Street, at 0136 BST on 26 July.

Humberside Police have named Tony Karim as their prime suspect in the investigation.

It is believed the 19-year-old, who speaks good English, is living in the Dover area.

Ports on alert

Officers from the Humberside force have put up a £5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Mr Karim.

Pc Philip Harvey-Hendley, of Kent Police, said officers from Humberside Police had travelled to the county to enlist their help.

He said: "They've passed all the information they know on Tony.

"This information has been put on a briefing and passed to all the police stations in south east Kent and to all the officers that patrol in south east Kent."

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Mohamed had been violently assaulted.

Originally from Sudan, he had been living in Alma Avenue Hull, for the last three months.
