Appeal over missing 'vulnerable' girl
Anne-Marie Davis
Anne-Marie Davis was suffering with emotional problems
The family of a Staffordshire teenager, who went missing during a shopping trip a month ago, has appealed for her to come home.

Anne-Marie Davis, from Burton-Upon-Trent, went missing while she was out with her father.

The 14-year-old had been suffering from emotional problems since her mother died nearly four years ago.

Her sister Christine said she was very vulnerable.

Secure unit

"She is a streetwise girl but she is also very vulnerable with it," she told BBC Midlands Today.

"I'm just worried that someone is keeping her against her will."

Her father David said he hoped she was safe and well.

Anne-Marie, also known as Amber, had been living in a secure unit in St Helens, Merseyside, for her own protection since April.

CCTV footage showed Anne-Marie buying a train ticket to Birmingham shortly after she went missing but there have been no sightings of her since.

She is described as 5 ft 4 in tall and may have been wearing a silver cross on a long chain.

She was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit and a striped t-shirt but has been known to wear traditional Asian clothing.
