Store targeted by gang
A man lunges for the till
Security cameras have captured the moment six men attacked a terrified assistant at a video store.

It was the latest in a string of robberies and break-ins at a chain of shops in Nottingham.

The latest victim, Hollywood Movies, says it has lost tens of thousands of pounds and claims police are not doing enough to help.

Yet police say it is the company which should do more.

The shop assistant in the latest attack was left so traumatised she did not return to work.

The gang join the attack

Staff at the Stapleford store have previously been robbed at knife-point.

The company is offering £10,000 for information about the robberies and break-ins.

On the issue of better policing, Nottinghamshire Police said: "As a commercial business, the Hollywood Movie store has a responsibility to take measures to protect its own premises, but we have sent a crime reduction manager to visit the shop and provide comprehensive advice."
