Ms Caplin has split with her PR man

Cherie Blair's lifestyle guru Carole Caplin has denied reports that she is considering giving an insider's account of life inside Downing Street.
A statement put out by Ms Caplin's lawyers said the former model had no intention of disclosing confidential information about Prime Minister Tony Blair and his family.
The news came after Ms Caplin's agent, Ian Monks, announced he had cut his ties with her because of her dealings with newspapers.
Ms Caplin's relationship with the prime minister's wife hit the headlines when it emerged that Ms Caplin's boyfriend, convicted fraudster Peter Foster, had helped Mrs Blair buy two Bristol flats.
Amid speculation that her links with Mrs Blair were waning, it was reported that she was looking at a variety of offers from newspapers and television companies.
A statement, put out in the name of her solicitor, Martin Cruddace from London-based firm Schillings, said: "Far from
there being any risk whatsoever of our client 'going nuclear' ... Ms Caplin has
instructed us to place on record immediately that:
-
"She has no (nor ever has had any) intention of writing a book, newspaper
article(s) or otherwise disclosing, for payment or otherwise, anything about her
relationship with the prime minister and Mrs Blair
-
"She has no (nor ever has had any) intention of writing a book or newspaper
article(s), or otherwise disclosing any confidential information whatsoever
about the prime minister and Mrs Blair, their family or political life."
The statement said Ms Caplin had instructed lawyers in the wake of "incredible speculation, rumours and false statements that have been recently publicised, including statements purportedly made by or attributed to Ms Caplin".

This is just scary, I'm terrified and I don't know why they're watching me like this

Mr Monks left his job as Ms Caplin's spokesman saying her use of other people to brief newspapers had made his role impossible.
That claim was seized upon by Ms Caplin's solicitor, who said she would "strongly deny" getting people to brief newspapers and that they would be taking the issue up with Mr Monk.
'Impossible'
In his resignation letter Mr Monks wrote: "We have discussed over the last weeks the number of people you appear to be employing to brief newspapers on your behalf, and presumably in line with your
changing personal and professional agenda.
"This has made what has always been a
difficult job for me impossible."
Earlier Mr Monks was quoted by the Guardian as saying: "She is certainly angry that people have been briefing against her for the last two years. Now it has reached the stage where it is inaccurate and very damaging personally and professionally."
Surveillance fears
Newspaper reports have claimed Ms Caplin is worried she is being spied upon, with people claiming to be journalists or Downing Street staff trying to get information about her business as a buyer for Mrs Blair.
She told the Mail on Sunday:
"I understand how that man Kelly felt.
"This is just scary. I'm terrified and I don't know why they're watching me like this."
Mr Blair's official spokesman on Monday said: "In respect of all the other stories around about Carole Caplin - who the Blairs might or might not see
in a personal capacity is entirely a matter for them."
