A couple who were looking forward to a dream honeymoon now face a race against time to convince a burglar to return their passports.
Sarah Horbury, 26, and 30-year-old Andrew Seaton-Smith, from Romsey, Hampshire, are due to marry on Friday and were to honeymoon in Mexico and Las Vegas.
But on Wednesday, their home in Luzborough Lane was broken into and their passports were stolen.
They have appealed for anyone who has them to return them in time for them to enjoy their honeymoon as planned.
Holiday of a lifetime
Mother-of-three Ms Horbury, who is determined not to allow the theft ruin her big day at Romsey Abbey, told BBC News Online: "We have had this all organised and we have been saving for this for two years.
"If it was just any other holiday I wouldn't have minded.
"It was a holiday of a lifetime costing us an arm and a leg.
"My fiancé was in tears. He had phoned up the passport people in London and he was devastated when they said there was nothing they could do for seven days."
As well as the passports, the burglar made off with an amount of costume jewellery and some garden machinery.
But the thief failed to spot the couple's wedding rings left boxed up in the kitchen.
Hampshire police are also appealing for the burglar to return the passports or drop them off somewhere where they can be returned to the couple.
