Cynog Dafis, left, lost to Dafydd Iwan, right

Dafydd Iwan has been elected president of Plaid Cymru.
The party vice-president beat Cynog Dafis for the post, after a vote by party members.
In a result announced on Monday evening, Mr Iwan won 2,980 votes, to Mr Dafis's 2,125.
The search for candidates to fill the top jobs in Plaid Cymru began when Ieuan Wyn Jones announced after the Welsh assembly election in May that he would be stepping down as leader and president of the party following its poor election results.
Shortly afterwards, former AM and MP Cynog Dafis decided to stand for the presidency, as did the party vice-president and folk singer Dafydd Iwan.
In a shock comeback, Ieuan Wyn Jones decided to stand for the leadership of the party in the Welsh assembly, but faced competition from Assembly Members Helen Mary Jones and Rhodri Glyn Thomas.
According to the party's constitution, there can only be a separate leader in the assembly if the party president comes from outside the assembly.
But as the only candidates to have declared themselves for the presidency were from outside the assembly - the two roles were then split.
