Four held over barber shop attack
Rashid & Son salon, Witton Road, Aston
Police think the shooting may have been a revenge attack
Four men have been arrested by detectives investigating a barber's shop shooting in Birmingham.

Mohammed Javed, 20, was shot in the back and head then dragged out of his chair in the shop in Witton Road, Aston, and attacked again.

The assault, which was carried out by a group of men at Rashid & Son on 28 June, left Mr Javed with severe injuries.

Four men, who are all in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday night.

The four are aged 23, 26, 27 and 28 and are all from Aston.

They were still in police custody on Wednesday afternoon.

Rashid & Son is a short distance from the hairdressing salon where college friends Letisha Shakespeare, 17, and Charlene Ellis, 18, were murdered outside a New Year party on 2 January.
